Ribbon Cutting- Michigan Celebrates!

Congrats to Fieldstone Architecture & Engineering! Auburn Hills Mayor the Honorable Kevin McDaniel, FAE President Ryan Rasmussen and CFO Heidi Rasmussen cut the ribbon. With Auburn Hills, Michigan, Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce and Fieldstone Architecture & Engineering.

The Michigan office of Fieldstone Architecture and Engineering celebrated its official opening on July 1, 2015. Fieldstone Architecture and Engineering President and CEO Ryan Rasmussen presented with his business partner and wife Heidi Rasmussen who is CFO. Ryan’s story is one that many architectural and engineering professionals have in common which centers around how one responded to the great recession. Ryan embraced entrepreneurship as a response to the great recession.

The ribbon cutting is a testament to the vision and growth the new business has made since the founders made the decision to set sail an start a new business. The firm provides jobs for 30+ local employees and also has added jobs to the South Oakland region in the markets of home builders, real estate businesses, building trades and building developers.

Fieldstone A&E’s new office located in Auburn Hills exemplifies the design skills the firm can offer new clients. Finished in a fresh crisp color scheme of cremes, whites, grays and blue accents, the office occupies the entire second floor of the new building at the corner of Squirrel Road and Auburn Road.The design of the office is modern yet remains inviting and warm. Upon entering the reception area, the visitor is greeted with a custom light fixture as well as a flat-screen monitor featuring images of the company’s latest projects. There is a large custom conference room, a kitchen lounge for the staff that has a table and furnishings selected from Kimball Office, and workspaces that line up along the buildings exterior window areas allowing for a lot of natural light.
